In Heyquip: Service & Repair
You will have a Work Template that preloads its checklist onto every new work order for the products it covers.
Steps
- From Service & Repair, open the work orders section, then press the Settings button to access the maintenance task library.
- Create a task, give it a name, and optionally specify a description, an owner, and a duration in minutes. Save, then repeat for each task.
-
Still in Settings, create a template and name it after a product family or a type of work.
- In the template, add the tasks to include; they come from the library you just built.
- Drag the tasks to set the order in which technicians should perform them.
- Save the template.
- Next, link the products this template applies to, from each product’s page.
Good to know
- Removing a task from a template does not delete it from the Work Tasks library.
