The seven moves that carry a customer from a quote to a returned product. 7 tips.
Create a quote
Build a priced quote for a customer and send it by email. A quote on its own holds nothing, but when you email it you can hold the products for the customer until a date you set.
Create an order
Pick the branch, add the customer, add the products for the dates, then click Confirm reservation. The state flips to Reserved and the products are held.
Take a deposit
Record a deposit against the order by cash, card, or a saved card before the products go out, and watch the balance update.
Capture a signature at the counter
Get the customer's signature on the rental agreement before the products leave. Once it is signed, the yellow banner on the order clears and the products can be released.
Charge a saved card
Take a payment or deposit by charging the customer's card on file, without them needing to be at the counter.
Take a return
Mark a rental line Returned to free the unit and close the line, then move on to billing.
Respond to an online quote
Spot a quote a customer built on your storefront, review what they asked for, and reply or turn it into a confirmed booking.
