In Heyquip: Orders > All orders
You will know which of the two you are looking at on the Orders list, and the one thing that actually changes in how you handle it.
Steps
- Look at the order's header badge. Quote, Reserved, Internet Order, Completed, and Archived are the five states an order can carry. See Follow the rental lifecycle.
- If the badge says Quote and the row on Orders > All orders also carries an Online quote tag, the customer built a cart on your storefront and emailed it to themselves instead of finishing checkout. It never became an order on its own. See Respond to an online quote.
-
If the badge says Internet Order, the customer picked dates and completed checkout on your storefront. The order carries a dedicated Internet Order Information card at the bottom of the right rail, showing the submitting business name, contact name, email, and phone, a snapshot of who placed it online that a staff-created order does not have.
- Either way, check the top of the order for a Confirm reservation button. An Internet Order shows it right alongside Order Billing, the same button a Quote shows before it is confirmed, and clicking it accepts every line at once. Nothing is held until then, even if the customer already paid a deposit online, and the shop can also accept or refuse an Internet Order item by item, or refuse it outright, instead of confirming it whole. See Accept or refuse an Internet Order.
-
Open Actions if you need to print or send documents. An Internet Order's menu has Print contract, Print with rental agreement, Print delivery slip, Send contract by email, Duplicate as a new quote, and Audit Logs, but no Toggle quote: flipping between Quote and Reserved is not how an Internet Order is handled.
Good to know
- Important: an Internet Order does not mean the products are already held, even when the customer paid a deposit online at checkout. Only a line that actually reaches To prepare, whether by Confirm reservation or item by item, is reserved for those dates.
