Process a card payment on the terminal

You will charge a customer's card on a Stripe Terminal card reader.

Steps

1. On the order's Billing summary, click the small card-icon button next to Add deposit / payment to open the Card payment window.

   

2. Make sure the balance represents the amount you want to charge the customer.
3. Pick the reader under Select terminal. A shop with one reader shows only that one.
4. Click Charge on terminal and have the customer tap, insert, or swipe on the reader.

Good to know

• A Reset terminal button sits next to Charge on terminal for the physical reader.
