In Heyquip: Orders > All orders
You will have the quote in the customer's inbox, replies routed to your own address, and a clear idea of what their link opens.
Steps
- Open the quote and click Actions at the top right.
-
Click Send quote by email.
- Verify the email is the right one for the client.
- Tick the box that sets your own address as the reply-to.
- Add personalized text if needed.
- Tick the hold checkbox if you'd like to hold the equipment for the dates until a certain deadline.
- Choose if you want to add a card deposit or simply an SMS confirmation code (default minimal acceptance method).
- Click Send.
How the customer views a quote
The email carries a link to a page outside the admin platform, built for that quote alone. It carries the signature and the payment, among other elements. To commit to the quote there, rather than just look at it, the customer confirms with either a code sent to them by SMS, or a deposit. Holding the products for the customer is explained in Learn the rental vocabulary.
