In Heyquip: the order
You will mark a rental product Returned, freeing the unit. You change the state on the order.
Steps

Find the order. In Dashboard > Items on orders, the On Rent tab lists the items at that stage. Click the row to open the order.
On the order, find the product and click its state, shown next to the product name.
Choose Returned.
Repeat for each product that comes back. Products still out stay untouched.
The product then reads Returned, the unit is available again, and it appears under the Returned tab of the Items on orders screen.
Good to know
On the Items on orders screen, a returned product shows a Billing chip of To bill when it is billable, so you can see straight away what is ready to invoice.
