In Heyquip: Orders > All orders
You will have an invoice for the order, ready to send, with the order's billing badge updated.
Steps
- Open the order and click Order Billing at the top right. The order must be Reserved to be billed (not in quote state). Or reach the billing queue from Billing > Orders to Bill and open an order from there.
- In the Rental Items table, tick the checkbox on each line you want to bill. Lines already billed show struck through and can't be ticked again.
-
Click Create invoice at the top right. It stays greyed out until you tick at least one line.
- If there was a deposit taken in the order, you'll see a pop-up that asks if you want to use the deposit to pay the invoice in part or in full.
When you finish, the invoice appears in the Invoices section of the billing screen and in Billing > Invoices, and the order's billing badge moves toward Billed.
Good to know
- The invoice takes the next number from Settings > Parameters > Next Invoice Number, and each line posts to its GL accounts automatically.
