In Heyquip: Orders > All orders
You will have a contract with the products held for the dates and the yard told to prepare them.
Steps
- Open the order. Check to see everything is right. You can still make changes once it's confirmed, though.
-
Click Confirm reservation at the top right.
- If a yellow banner recommends a deposit, use its Add a deposit button to take one now.
When you finish, the quote becomes a contract: the state badge on screen reads Reserved, every line moves to To prepare as the yard's cue, and the products are held for those dates.
Good to know
- Money taken at this stage is a deposit. It stays on the contract and does not apply to the invoice by itself. Once the invoice exists, apply the deposit to it or refund it.
- If the customer is not ready after all, see Send a reserved order back to a quote to release the products and undo the reservation.
